From Hethpool we follow a car-free road up the beautiful College Valley, where peace and tranquillity prevail, with only a few sounds of nature as background music. Reaching Mounthooly we skirt beneath The Cheviot, along the woodside to Dunsdale, where another lovely valley greets us. We follow the Lambden Burn down to its meeting with the College Burn and then retrace our footsteps back down the valley.
