This is a very enjoyable and interesting, circular walk that starts on the edge of Mortimer Forest, south-west above the valley of Ludlow, then descends into the next rural valley of Burrington to join the Herefordshire Trail and pass Elton Hall. The views are picturesque all the way round, with a variety of terrain. The route then joins The Mortimer Trail which includes near the end the highlight, the panorama from the top of High Vinnalls, with its splendid view looking down on the historic town of Ludlow and across to the awesome sight of the Titterstone Clee Hill; certainly a place to enjoy sunrises and sunsets.

(Although this walk has been described in detail it is advisable that anyone following it is competent at navigation and carries the appropriate maps and navigational equipment).
