A very pleasant and easy walk beside two rivers one the, River Great Ouse and then the River Wissey, where water birds can be seen. This route is part of the long distance path, Fen Rivers Way. Walked this on a mild February morning. Glorious views across the landscape and simple route to follow. We were a bit confused at point 6 as there was no left turn back to Stocks Hill but we knew where we were going. Loads of water birds and a glimpse of a kingfisher was a bonus. The riverbank along the Wissey stretch was pure bog so maybe one for spring!
