This is a very enjoyable walk, with good views of the countryside and with the paths in good order and well-signed. Wheelchairs could use the main paths in the Country Park.

The unspoilt Georgian town of Holt is where refreshments can be obtained, plus giftshops etc. A very good B & B is at Hempstead Hall, where Sam the donkey lives! It is a quiet rural setting but within easy reach of the North Norfolk coastline and NT properties and is a popular area for walking. Ring Mrs Mack on 01263-712224.

Delightful walk. As of June ‘23 a few of the stiles have gone but the directions remain excellent. Quite overgrown paths at this time of year in the first half of the walk so maybe long trousers advised.

A terrific walk around some glorious countryside, woodland and country park.
