This walk starts and finishes at The Red Lion pub in the Cotswold village of Ilmington. The walk gently climbs through the village past the war memorial and exits onto the fields leading up to Ilmington Hill. This steep climb is rewarded with probably some of the best views from this highest point in Warwickshire. On a clear day you can see Warwick Castle in the north and many more landmarks. The highest point reached is at the television analogue mast known as Lark Stoke. Again, there are excellent views across the Evesham Valley to the Malvern Hills. Descent is back past Lower Lark Stoke, before another short climb and descent to Ilmington and welcome refreshment at The Red Lion pub.
