This enjoyable walk has a rare advantage over most walks in the West Highlands...it's on limestone and the paths are seldom muddy. Paths are good and are well graded up to the caves at 750ft. There is no shelter, other than the caves, so wet-weather clothing should be carried and boots are advised. There are nice views along Loch Assynt. This is a good family walk on a nice day (care should be taken if children go near the swallow hole at Waymark 08).
