As well as being a physically enjoyable walk it's also a geography / geology lesson, detailing the landforms seen en route and indicating how they were formed and are put to use.
There are three walks, waymarked red, yellow and blue, so you can select a length to suit. We have covered all three here. The paths vary from the broad forestry track of the yellow route (Waymarks 5-6) to the narrow grassy paths along the crests of the eskers elsewhere. The low-lying areas between eskers may be boggy in wet weather; boots are advised. This is an enjoyable family walk (with a request to keep dogs under control), with nice views of Strath Nairn.
