This is a real gem of a walk, starting at Ipswich Station and terminating at Woodbridge Station. You pass through the town centre and a huge park and the rest of the walk takes you through the amazing undulating Suffolk countryside before a long stretch beside a creek and through a boatyard.

Apart from the food outlets at Ipswich Town, there are two pubs en route and near the end of the walk, there is a tea room at Woodbridge boatyard. By the station there is a pub, another tea room and a restaurant.

This really is an excellent family walk, with all paths clear and dry (March 2022) and plenty of benches to sit and admire the views whilst enjoying a sandwich.

We did this walk on 22/06/22. It was really enjoyable. Although we found it to be nearer 15 miles than 11 according to our GPS tracking. Still would thoroughly recommend it though.
