This is a gem of a walk, with very good paths, no stiles and two pubs en route: The Royal Oak, Ixworth Thorpe is open up to 11am for breakfasts; lunchtime meals are from noon and it is open seven days a week; The Bull at Troston does not do food on Mondays.
St Mary's Church at Troston has ancient wall paintings as well as many other very interesting features.

The route is mainly tracks, a field edge and a short bit of road which connects.
