This walk initially passes through a nature reserve which features a large lake. It then continues into Guildford via Guildford Spectrum and Stoke Park. From Guildford it follows the Wey river and canal back to the car park.

We did this walk on July 11th 2021 and very much enjoyed it as it took us down parts of Guildford that we had not come across before. The first part is parallel with the noisy A3 unfortunately but then you drop down and the noise abates somewhat. We walked through Stoke Park that we have only driven round before. You go right through the middles of Guildford and as we come out of Covid it was interesting to see what had happened to the High Street. After crossing the bridge in town we had to divert because of repairs to the tow path but it wasn't a problem. Enjoyed the final stretch back walking by the water.
