By now we are well over halfway round our journey and the modest climbs today are almost the last of the whole walk. Again, the route is by pastureland and is not heavily walked; but the signposting is good and the views superb as we walk parallel to the southernmost fells of the Forest of Bowland to the charming village of Chipping.
