This circular walk starts at Kelvedon Station in Essex. This is a fairly long walk but well worth it. It consists of field-paths, quiet country lanes, sections through woodlands, farms and through private residences. There is also a lovely long-distance path you encounter alongside Braxted Park with its Grade:II listed brick wall. There are some excellent views to be had at various points along this route.
The A12 is crossed twice en route, but you pass under a bridge and over a bridge, so there's no worry of actually trying to cross the busy dual carriageway.
Some of the ploughed fields you encounter have no visible paths so I decided to walk around the field edges to the next waymark due to the thick mud. My walk instructions follow this decision.
Also through the private residences, there are no waymarkers showing you the route, but following the walk directions will steer you in the correct direction. Enjoy the walk!
