This is a pleasant stroll around part of Kelvingrove Park, with its many statues and monuments and lofty views, together with a tour around some of the impressive buildings of Glasgow University, Britain's fourth oldest. The route visits the Hunterian Museum (Scotland's oldest) and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, among others.

The walk is intended to complement Walk 3523, an architectural tour of Central Glasgow.
