A pleasant stroll on footpaths and country lanes from Keswick, heading to Portinscale and passing the edge of Newlands Valley to Braithwaite. This low-level undulating stroll is particularly rewarding for pushchair users, who are restricted from most public footpaths, although the walk is ideal for walkers of all abilities who are looking for a gentle stroll away from the fells.

Done today. Lovely easy walk, low level on very quiet lanes, forest tracks and pretty streams. All waymarks correct and easy to follow.
