Beginning at King's Sutton and taking minor roads to visit Newbottle, Charlton and Aynho, this is a good walk in superb countryside, with plenty to see and interest the wanderer's eye.
Each of the villages has its own individual feature and character and can be explored more fully by diverting just a little, then returning to the planned route.
Newbottle Woods is the choice of many local families for an idyllic Sunday afternoon stroll and picnic, a place of peace and beautiful birdsong. Tucked away amongst the trees is St James' Church, the manor-house and the vicarage.
The views across acres of fields and meadows along the way are marvellous and the wonders of the countryside are apparent throughout the whole walk.
