Aconbury Hill boasts a hill-fort as well as a trig point. The woodland is criss-crossed with paths, all open to the public and all with a good surface. The route given takes you up to the hill-fort and then the trig point, before dropping down to circle the woodland. Feel free to explore the woodland as you wish. The route is just a guide, the woodland is there to be enjoyed.
