This is an undemanding country walk, only twenty minutes from the centre of Aberdeen City. The area is home to deer, red squirrels, buzzards, rabbits and foxes. A red kite has been seen in the area and a woodpecker has been heard. Although the route is along well-defined paths it can get quite muddy, making good footwear essential. Thick trousers will be appreciated when you brush against a gorse bush.
