Take a scenic, undulating route, mainly through woodland, to visit Big and Little Bruntis Lochs, with the option to divert midway to sample the delights of the new Kirroughtree Visitor Centre.

I decided to start this walk from the 'Angler's' (just the one?) Car Park as it is on the route. The walk descends through mixed woodland and rises again through a recently cleared area before entering the woods again and joining a main track. You reach cross-paths and either turn left to continue the walk or turn right to reach the visitor centre with its range of facilities: café, toilets, giftshop, information, bike shop, swings and adventure playground. Return to the cross-paths, where the trail rises to meet Big Bruntis Loch and then proceeds to Little Bruntis Loch. The last leg meanders through more woodland before dropping back to the car park.
