Knowl Hill - Shottesbrooke Park - Waltham St Lawrence - Knowl Hill

The walk starts next to the A4 in Knowl Hill before crossing the road and passing the church and The Royal Oak, then heading into the countryside. The route passes a refurbished farm building before heading down an enclosed footpath. There then follows some open-air walking, with great views of hills to your left.

Passing over the Great Western mainline for the first time, the walk soon arrives at Shottesbrooke Park, where you walk down an avenue of trees before passing in front of the manor-house and the church.

Leaving the park, the walk heads through open fields and then enters the pleasing village of Waltham St Lawrence and The Bell Tavern. After leaving the village, the walk heads north over the railway line and in between the golf course before returning to Knowl Hill.
