La Lobera: a Circular Walk from El Real de la Jara

This walk is a good way to get a taste of the gently rolling, open landscape at the western extremity of the Sierra Norte. The route follows well-made, but largely empty, lanes and tracks. We follow a picturesque stream for much of the outward leg and return on a higher-level track with some splendid views. (A side visit to see the 14th Century castle at El Real de la Jara is recommended. It provides some more excellent views).
