This walk explores the Stour Valley to the north west of Lamarsh. The route starts by gaining a bit of height for some lovely views along the River Stour and to Bures to the south and Little Cornard to the north. Down close to the church you may be able to make out an ancient moat from a possible medieval manor house.
The route zig-zags its way around the open fields near Twinstead before returning via quiet country lanes and footpaths back down to the church.
