This attractive woodland, hill and ridge walk leaves Langholm from Kilngreen Car Park on the banks of Ewes Water, takes a woodland road and track to Potholm Farm and then climbs onto Potholm Hill, with excellent all-round views from its summit. The route continues along the ridge to Castle Hill and descends to Langholm. En route you twice pass close to the museum of Clan Armstrong.

Information for Dog Owners: this is sheep country, so dogs should be kept on a leash.
