The area around the little hill-town of Cazalla is one of the prettiest and most varied in the Sierra Norte. 'Las Laderas' means 'the hillsides' and in this walk we explore the hills that drop away to the east of Cazalla, down into the valley of the River Hueznar. Our outward route skirts some small farms, then descends quite steeply through a narrow wooded gully. In the valley below, we pass the picturesque 'Area Recreativa del Molino de Corcho' on the banks of the Hueznar, before heading up a ridge for the return to Cazalla.
