A medium-level walk from the D'Aulps Valley, mostly through forest on well-marked tracks. This makes it an ideal outing on a hot sunny day. Throughout the day there are great views of the D'Aulps Valley.
The route climbs quite steeply from Le Biot on forest tracks. A short stretch on a forest path brings you to the alpine pastures of Drouzin.
From here a track takes you down to the little hamlet of Thex. As you descend you get a magnificent view of the Mont Blanc massif. A track takes you back down to Le Biot.
A good walk for dogs - just make sure they don't disturb the animals on the pastures. The occasional 4x4 may come along the tracks, but slowly, so you get plenty of warning.
