I have seen at least two other walks to Westonbirt - the one via Highgrove can be found on Walkingwrld, and is well worth it (the other starts in Sherston). Westonbirt itself is worth a visit at any time of year.
This walk takes you on a public footpath through the arboretum, but if you want to look around - please pay!
There is a bit on lane and track, so this could be a good winter walk.
