Beginning from picturesque St Uny's Church in Lelant, from where the historic St Michael's Way to Marazion starts, we walk up to and through the West Cornwall Golf Course before following the scenic upper footpath to Carbis Bay with the little St Ives to St Erth railway line below us. At Carbis Bay we have a spell of urban walking before heading west to climb up Worvas Hill to Knill's Monument (see additional information). Next, we head down past Steeple Woods then north to reach the huge car park above St Ives. Now there is just a short urban stretch to bring us down to the Malakoff, from where we can get a bus or carry on down to the train station for a really scenic ride back.
