The village of Lenwade straddles the River Wensum. At the bridge there is an 18th Century mill, now housing. The walk takes to the tarmac for a short distance, before crossing farmland on clear, well-defined tracks en route to Lyng. There is, again, a mill, but only the mill pond with a lovely bridge is visible from the route. The return to Lenwade begins alongside flooded gravel-pits, then encounters an elegant hotel before reaching the starting point once again.
