A walk to Lewes golf course, up the steepest road in Sussex for the exercise and the views. Then slowly down again through a nature reserve involving woodland and meadowland. Then walk along an exposed and breezy section of the Sussex Ouse where you can expect to see wildfowl. Up to a couple of local villages and back by bus. Alternative walking returns are suggested in the additional info. You can make use of the local pub in one of the villages and visit a NT property. Just make sure you've got the bus times right.
