A lovely walk in countryside on the border of town, the route begins in Worden Park and continues through country lanes to another entrance to the park, where the end of the walk can be taken as a gentle stroll next to the river, emerging back in the park with all its facilities.

It was a nice day and we enjoyed the walk as a couple but it was just around the perimiter of the Park on the roads. I think it would have been a bit tretcherous for a family as most of it was road walking on none existant paths... would have prefered it to be more of a discovery of the park itself. On a good note i LOVED the pub the Plough... real ale, good food and a nice setting... Now in my all time top 5 pub list! Try the walk but see more of the park first!

First Walkingworld walk we ever did. Lovely stroll and the facilities in Worden Park are always worth a visit.
