The walk begins by going south along the beach to a marker for Albert Road, where a themed trail is picked up. This leads across the rear dunes and is well-marked to what is known as The Devil's Hole. From here woodland paths lead to another themed and marked path back to the start. The going is fairly easy, although the state of the sand on the beach can vary and there are good views across to the North Wales coastline as far as the Carneddau in the right conditions
