Near Vadillo-Castril, at the picturesque woodland recreational area of Linarejos, we begin this lovely hike which eventually will bring us to the Calar de Majada de la Señora. We will pass through mixed woodland and enjoy wonderful scenery on our way along wide easy tracks.

Once we climb up to the calar, we are able to explore its open area and amazing views over a vast area. Later we have the pleasure of enjoying a different perspective as we retrace our footsteps to Linarejos.

We were pleased to have the opportunity to walk this one again in February 2023 some 14 years after I first submitted it! Some navigational errors have been corrected and I have slightly altered the route back from the Calar. There is also an up to date map.
