This is a good wet-weather walk as, with only two short exceptions, it follows country lanes and dry field margins. At times these are so rural as to resemble farm tracks. There is little traffic. The garden centre at Moulton St Mary is well-known as an upmarket lunch and coffee stop and is a little over halfway round the walk. Finally there may be a welcoming coffee and cake at Lingwood village hall.
