The two-and-a-half-mile circuit around Linlithgow Loch is easy, mainly flat and family-friendly. There are no stiles, just some steps down to the loch and a couple of wide kissing-gates, plus a few information boards. There are fine views throughout of Linlithgow Palace and its adjoining church and the opportunity to visit them afterwards. You will find plenty of refreshment places near the palace and along the high street.
