This is a delightful walk across commonland, through woodland and along country lanes through the truly unspoilt village of East Lexham. The route is along part of the Nar Valley Way and across permissive paths, by kind permission of Mr Foster of Lexham Hall. There is a pub, the Bull, in Litcham, where food can be obtained.

28/03/23 Nice easy walk. The export of the file didn't seem to work but the descriptions of the turns were very good. The meadow at the river crossing was very wet, well over shoes but we were nearly at the end so was OK. The road sections were very quiet, and as usual for Norfolk, drivers seems extremely considerate.

Completed this walk on 19 August with my history loving and WWI expert friend. A lovely walk from start to finish. Whilst spending an hour browsing around the wonderful church at East Lexham my friend made use of his Commonwealth Graves app where upon we found the grave of one Edward Seaman. Edward died on 21 September 1916 as a result of wounds received on the battlefield, Edward received a private burial as he was brought back to England but sadly did not survive. I will be laying flowers on Edward's grave on 21 September to ensure he no longer lays alone with no one to remember him.
