A loop walk over small hills, with a pub and tea rooms en-route. There is a pub in Litchborough and the Old Dairy Farm craft centre and café/tea rooms approximately midway along the walk. The walk is over rolling agricultural land giving good views of the countryside. All three villages have churches and you are likely to see sheep, cows and horses along the route. You might even hear an owl if you complete the route at dusk as we did.

We also started a point 12. There were quite a few very muddy parts. Firstly, between 13 & 14- we decided to carry on the road and avoid this. The route back (2-10) wasn't clear at all and very muddy. It would be a lot better in the summer when it was less muddy and the footpaths may be more easily identifiable.

We started at point 12 and did 12 to 21, then 1 to 12, finishing up with a tasty meal at the Barn in the Old Dairy Farm. This would have been a really nice, dog friendly walk apart from the following points which did spoil it. Half way between points 19 and 20 the farmer has ploughed the field, completely obliterating any signs of a path and walking across it is very hard going. The second field in step 20 had cows in and as we were walking with 2 dogs we couldn't stick to the line of the footpath but instead had to skirt round the edge of the field to avoid the cows. The double gates at point 21 were padlocked shut with chicken wire covering all the gaps so we had to lift the dogs over the stile. This wasn't helped by the fact that the stile step was so wobbly and unsteady it was dangerous. It was such a shame about the above points as the rest of the walk was very pleasant and the dogs had no trouble with any of the other stiles. (FYI The footpath is no longer barred at point 9)
