From the tiny picture-book village of Little Tew, on paths and bridleways and leafy lanes, to the edge of Swerford, then circling round still further before returning, this walk encapsulates superb scenes in the heart of beautiful rural Oxfordshire. There are a few climbs, but none too strenuous and the fine views are ample reward. Secretive, enclosed paths are unspoilt and offer the magic of birdsong and a rich variety of wild plants and insects. The quiet, attractive villages are a pleasure to walk through, reminders of a gentler English way of life.
