Llanon - Llansantffraed - Cardigan Coast Path - Llanrhystyd - Castell Mawr and Castell Bach - Cwm Peris - Llanon
This circular walk from Llanon to Llanrhystud follows the coast path as the outward journey but the return journey is much more demanding. On the way visit the Church of St Ffraid's in Llansantffraed; this is well worth a visit.
The coast path affords lovely views to the Llyn Peninsula. From Llanrhystud the route is demanding as it climbs up to the hill-forts, but the views are worth it and once past the hill-forts it is downhill. The gentle walk down through Cwm Peris is lovely and there is always fish and chips to look foreward to at the end. The shop is open 12 noon to 9pm every day except Sunday.
