Nestled in the hills and forest above Betws y Coed, Llanrwst and Capel Curig are the beautiful lakes of Llyn Geirionydd and Llyn Crafnant, both of which can easily be accessed by lanes from Betws y Coed and Trefriw. This circular walk starts by the side of Llyn Geirionydd and takes in the forested slopes of Mynydd Deulyn (Mountain of the Two Lakes) before a circuit of Llyn Crafnant and a return to the start. Along the way there are delightful views across the water up to the Carnedd range and two interesting monuments to ponder. Take your time and soak up the tranquillity of this enchanting pair of lakes.
