This walk, in Strath Oykel, climbs from near the River Oykel (a noted salmon river) through a forest of pine and spruce to a trout loch at 150m. The loch has an abundance of wildlife and deer may be seen.
Between Waymarks 4 and 5, in a broad fire-break, the narrow path is indistinct in places, but is well marked by marker posts. It's a good family walk (boots advised), with dog.
