A fascinating walk around remote Loch Ossian, surrounded by towering mountains. The route is easy and on a good forest road all the way, the views are too numerous to mention but with a good road you can relax and look around. Make sure you visit the eco-friendly youth hostel. You will have adequate time to complete this walk and maybe have a meal before the down train comes along.

I fear I am less enthused about the views, as much of the walk on the north side of the loch is through thick trees with little view out. The track on the south side was very wet in September 2011. In some places it functions more as a burn and can be up to a foot deep in water! The views down the loch are attractive however
