Visitors to London, families, couples and individuals will love this walk. This is absolutely the best way to take in almost all the major sights and get some exercise at the same time. You can spend 2½ hours or all day. Almost the entire distance is free of traffic. There are magnificent views of parks, buildings, the River Thames, people at leisure, street entertainment, historical sights and so much else offered by one of the world's greatest capital cities. You can start or stop at various points along the way. Refreshments of all kinds are available throughout.

We did this walk today and enjoyed it very much. We knew sections of the walk before but it was a very pleasant walk if not totally new to us, especially as it was mostly traffic free. The directions were very easy to follow and I did both a print out with map and a download to my mobile, both of which were good. At point 13 you should note that Vinopolis has been demolished and all that is left is a column pinted silver with the name Vinopolis still on. That direction may need updating. Look forward to trying another walk.

Walked the route on 25/06/12 and it was brilliant! I walked it with my partner and although I am a country bumpkin, she is a born and bred Londoner; even she saw sights that she hadn't before! The weather was lovely and the flowers were out in full, particularly Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park Rose Garden, very special places. I would truly recommend this walk to anyone. Whilst it wasn't the hilly type of walk we would normally embark upon, the sights were equally as rewarding! Took us around 4 hours, but we stopped for some lunch at Kensington Palace and to enjoy some of the views on the way. Brilliant walk and highly recommended, a great way to see all the London sights!

If you have visitors from abroad who would like to see the sights then this is the way to show them, we took our Aussie friends on this walk and they loved it. “So much to see” they exclaimed. As for me and my wife it was the second time around and we enjoyed it as much as the first time, it was a glorious day weather wise which was an excuse to buy lots of ices, drinks etc to quench our thirst. Look out for buskers, mainly along the embankment they are highly entertaining and well worth a contribution in their hat, also on a cautionary note be aware of pickpockets in crowded places, we were fortunate. It’s a good idea to do some research on the net before you go and print out extra information and highlights about the places you will visit this makes the walk so much more interesting. I recommend this walk. ...Do it you won’t regret it.

A truly amazing walk. Best time is summer, there is so much to see and do. We took more than 3 hours as there are many diversions, pubs, bars, coffee shops. The London views are amazing, do not forget your camera. This walk left us on a real high, so much so we had a 10pm barbeque at home to finish the day off!. Highly highly recommended. You can park on the main road at Kensington High Street (in places) on a Sunday. Directions: Perfect. Walk: perfect. 10/10

We did this walk as a party of five, and had the bonus of a nice sunny day there was so much to see and time was our own. This walk is highly recommended as a change but be careful of pickpockets as one of our party lost a wallet on crowded Westminster bridge. If you go on a Saturday you can see many gifted buskers just past the BA wheel, a delight! I don't recommend visiting the inside of Cling prison the display was dissapointing. Nearly all the walk was traffic free and you could forget you were in the capital, we finished with a good dinner in 'Whethersoon's' by the tower. Thanks Robert! ...Chris Christodoulou.
