Our walk takes us from the village of Longframlington down to High & Low Weldon then Weldon Bridge where the Anglers Arms pub can be found with its unusual railway carriage restaurant. From here we follow the banks of the River Coquet as we weave our way through the fields to Pauperhaugh and the lovely stone bridge. Our return leg takes us up across part of Longframlington Moor then a last road section back into the village, where the village shop and a couple of pubs can be found. The Granby has a very good reputation for good food - I highly recommended it.

Totally agree with the diversion suggested at the end. Done this a few times. Can be boggy in winter though.

Pleasant walk and very easy to navigate with good signs throughout. Lots of stiles to negotiate some of which required our large dog to be lifted over. Would recommend at point 16 going left up the road past Throat Wood and then right using a way-marked path back to Longframlington rather than taking the road back from this point as described.
