A smashing walk in the hills around Granada. Very popular and great for young children. Our 4 year old grandchild managed it with ease. The challenges for kids are offset by the fun of the walk. These include: suspension bridges, a walk along a gorge and crawling under overhanging rocks right next to the Monachil stream. We did this walk on Christmas day 2022 in beautiful weather. There were quite a few people about and the restaurant looked full. I suspect it gets very busy on occasions. As ever in Spain, the mornings are always a good bet to avoid crowds. The walk can be extended at both ends - see additional info. Our map reference within the gorge may not be accurate to many places but there is only one path.
