A pleasant walk along the lower stretches of the River Findhorn, at Forres, Moray. The river is a good salmon river and the walk takes you along many of the fishing pools.
Unlike the middle and upper Findhorn, where there are many rocky gorges, the river is here placid and the walking all but level. Seats invite the walker to picnic while watching the anglers; a nice family walk (with dog). Refreshments etc are available in nearby Forres.
