This linear walk is worth doing for the birds as well as the lovely woodland. The puplic footpath peters out at Waymark 03 as the woodlands are privately owned. However the scenery on the return route looks different as we are then walking with the stream, instead of against it. Plenty of birds and wildflowers; most of the path is good but it can be muddy in places.
