In this area of outstanding beauty the scenes are unsurprisingly lovely in every aspect. From the small and quiet setting of Lower Tysoe to the picturesque, larger settlement of Shenington and the charming Middle Tysoe, all three villages are interesting and attractive in their own right, built mostly of local stone. The hilly contours of the landscape merit some fairly strenuous climbs, but also fabulous views, interspersed with magnificent woodland where there are shady paths in quiet solitude; truly a walk in an unspoilt corner of England.

Thanks Trevor, we think the map is corrected now, Walkingworld Admin.

We did this walk on a windy, rainy day (23/9) and it was just OK, probably due to the weather. The map is usually right (and I'm usually wrong) but the instructions and the waymarks don't seem to match up from #9 on. The landlord at The Bell in Shenington was hilariously grumpy!
