This Country Park is on the eastern side of the picturesque village of Market Bosworth. It has acres of well-kept grassland and a lovely lake called Bow Pool, alive with different types of ducks and other water birds. If you are taking children with you remember some bread to feed them. It has an arboretum where many of the trees have information plaques. The arboretum is being updated and more species of trees and shrubs planted to bring all the year round colour. There is also a great children's play area on the track up from the toilet block. If you wish, once on the car park follow the road from the left corner where you can drive to the play area; you will also see plenty of parking space and plenty of room for picnics and games.

I really enjoyed this short walk around Bosworth Country Park, which included some parts I had not previously visited. There is a fabulous little play area for children and lots of dog walkers.
