Starting at the railway station this scenic circular walk is fairly long but well worth it. You will be following field paths, quiet country lanes, through two farms, and a lengthy stretch beside the River Colne which is a section of the long distance path known as The Essex Way. You will be passing two pubs along the way so refreshments are close to hand on this walk.

There are two paths through farmer's fields that are not signposted, nor have they been maintained, so there are optional directions to get round this which are easy to follow. The rest of the paths are fine if not slightly muddy in places due to the time of the year (Feb 2023).
