Martin Mere - Liverpool / Leeds Canal - Burscough Bridge

The walk is based upon Martin Mere, owned by the Wetland and Wildfowl Trust and uses a new concessionary path around the reserve. The walk then goes along the towpath of the Leeds - Liverpool Canal to reach agricultural land, where you are likely to see hares; from here it is a short distance back to Martin Mere.
