Meall Corranaich and Meall a' Choire Leith are two of eight Munros in the Lawers Group of mountains on the north side of Loch Tay, but they lie just outside the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve. The circular route starts near the northern end of Lochan na Lairige and roughly follows the boundary of the nature reserve to the first summit.

The flatter sections near the start and end of the walk cross a mixture of heather-covered hillocks and boggy peat-filled hollows, but once you start climbing the going is mostly dry and stony. Linking the two summits is a 3km ridge that provides superb views of the Tarmachan Ridge to the west and the Lawers Ridge to the east.

From the summit of Meall a' Choire Leith you have views over Glen Lyon and its Munros to the north. Large herds of red deer are common here and ptarmigan, grouse and ravens may also be seen.
